Brake Replacement

Well my calipers are completely screwed. I called our local OEM reseller and they quoted me 30$ a side for new calipers or 80$ a side for new Aluminum calipers. I bouht the generic calipers as I am in desperate need for brakes that work however would the aluminum calipers make any difference besides lack of corrosion?

Would the weight loss affect anything? Can't be that much lighter.

Ugh...Ends up the callipers were only he tip of the iceberg. Well from all the gripage from the callipers...the brake fluid heated up and bascally baked...causing the master cylinder and *** knows what else to fry.

Mechanic gave me a price of anywhere from $100 to $500 to fix it.
