Tie Rod Question
Yesterday I noticed that the pass side tie rod zerk was facing toward the ground, the driver's side was canted upward perhaps a quarter inch of more toward the front of the car. The car drives straight and nothing appears to be wrong. Am I concerned unnecessarily?

Some zerk fittings have different angles.Do either one of them have cracks in them?My guess is that at one time it was either missing the zerk and it was replaced or the tie rod was replaced and that was the one that came with it.

The flat surface of the tie rod is canted up as well--I was using the zerk to show how the assembly 'seems' to have twisted a bit. I'm running Hotchkiss tie rod sleeves.

So the tie rod itself looks like it twisted?Have you noticed any pulling or vibration? If it is twisted it should be replaced.
