Help. Need Drag Radials
I have 17" 8 1/2 Chrome Iroc Rims.
I need dragradials ASAP. Nitto or BFG what ever...
Where can i get some for the 17" and what size would fit well?
Currently i have 255/45/17 tires all around.

I recommend the Nittos more for daily driving, and the BFG's if you only plan to drive it on weekends in nice weather.

i got about 14,000 miles on my BFGs. didn't expect them to last much longer. these still handled better in the rain than some other tires i've run in the past. just need to know the limits of the car in the rain, but then again if you're buying drag radials, this isn't a daily driver right?

Dont forget about the new M/T ET Street Radials. I believe they come in a 17" size... They are the best hooking drag radials out there. I know guys in the 9's with ease on these things. They'll wear out pretty quick though, but you need all the bite you can get with a 17" rim.

Like stated above, Nittos are recommended if you do a lot of street driving. A 275/40r17 Nitto will fit fine on the 8.5" wheel, whereas a BFG 275/40r17 would bulge a little. I've driven on Nittos for a couple of years now and they work very well in all conditions. They bite well on the street

I gauruntee people will make 7 second passes on them... The only reason they arent at the moment is because BFG sponsers all those fast DR guys. Why change tire when someones paying you a fortune to use/advertise them?
I have a lot of friends who are die-hard drag radial guys, they've tried them all, and ever since et radials came out thats all they've been using. These things are just about as soft as slicks and hook great even when new. IMO its silly for anyone serious about drag radials to not try these tires because they arent the current world recorder holder... These are new, people are still discovering them. Within the first few weeks of their introduction someone already went well into the 8's on them. How far off do you think 7's are?

When someone can make a 7 second pass on those, then claim they are the best hooking drag radial. Until then, BFG is king.

My predictions were correct. M/T ET Radials are king

Since when were 2 power adders allowed in any of the Drag Radial classes? PSCA Outlaw DR... never knew it existed. Is this the same class that Big Daddy started?I saw that post on another board last night, and immediately thought of this post.
