strut tower trashed

The driver side strut tower in my 88 formula has completely rusted through. The entire top portion has shifted towards the engine and is braced against the control arm. My tire is now sitting at almost a 45% angle to the ground. I was just wondering what sort of options you guys think I have. Some people have told me that I should just junk it. I would hate to do that. Any idea what sort of money I am looking at for a shop to fix this?

Sounds just like my old 88 formula.

The car was in ok condition except the strut towers, which were both rusted horribly.. I sold it before what happened to yours happened to mine.

Maybe you could cut out the old and weld in new, or go to a coil over setup with a new k-member?
