Hey everyone, I installed bilstein shocks and struts a while ago. Now I am hearing noises come from the back when I get on the brakes hard or go over a bump. I think it is the rear shocks making the noise. What is causing it and how can I fix it? Thanks

is it a clunking noise or a squeek or a pop or a boom or a crunch or a crack or a pow or a kaboom or a click click click or a clank...LOL....sorry
if its comming from the back make sure the bolts are all secure first off
we put new shocks on my camaro one time and the top thru bolts in the back got loose slightly and caused a clunk when going over bumps ..
just had to retighten them and they were fine

I would describe it as a clunking/crunching noise, lol. I'll have to see if the top bolts need tightening.

There's a good possibility that the shocks have punched out the weenie sheet metal they mount to at the top.... happens all the time.
If that's what it is, get a couple of washers welded in there, in such a way as to be connected to the vertical part of the metal, for a little extra strength.
