What do you want new tires for? You just turned regular tires into racing slick.
I have generals on my car. Theyre really cheap and really hard but lack some in dry traction. Ive had mine for like 50k and they have at least another 20k in them. And i like to drive hard. You may want to consider getting something like that for daily tires and a second set for when you go racing.

I'd get some 225/60-15 in front and 235/60-15 in the rear. Or you could just get either of those sizes all-around.
There are several pretty good performance all-season tires. www.tirerack.com

I use Goodyear Eagle GT+4's, 245/60R-15's all around but I don't think that they make them any more. If you go that big it will affect your ride but the handling is great.
