what residual valve or prop valvle do i need? help

im putting c5 brakes on my 85 trans am . The car originally had 4 wheel discs, but the car now has a chrysler 8 3/4 with drum brakes. The brakes seem really hard ever since ive had them on . Do i need a prop valve or do i need the proportioning valve from an 85 ta with disc/drum valve and that will be fine or what . I really want these vette brakes to be great and work to their full potential . i dont wanna be dissapointed. I just need some help on what i need to do .

P.s. what does the od need to be on the hubs im gonna have machined, is it 5.8 for the c5 brakes?

thanks jeff.
