coil spring indexing with tubular a arms??????
well, dont wanna do the job unless i do it right. i know the stock springs need to be indexed in the stock a arms.
what about stock springs in a tubular a arm? do i need to use the holes in the stock a arm as a guide, or does it matter?

AFAIK, tubular arms have no indentions for the springs. Those I've seen have flat circles for spring perches.

so its ok just to put them in any ole way and let it go? ive got stepped isolators for the springs, so there is a flat surface on each side of the spring now anyway. with the k member and a arms i wanted to make sure.

Is there at least some kind of pocket that the spring is retained in on the A-arm? SOme of these aftermarket arms are scary the way they are designed- most of the perches are very cheaply made and can either snap off with suspension travel binding forces or the spring can even walk its way out of there entirely. Just be careful.

If you hold the a-arm level, one side of the perch should be lower than the other. This is where you want to clock your springs, on the low side. Easiest thing to do is to mark the top of the perch while the a-arms are out of the car. This way all you have to do is line up the spring with the mark.
