Wheel stud size on flang end

ok, the wonderful search engine worked, but not for what i was looking for. I have an 88 Iroc with the Borg&Warner rear end and i want to put longer studs all around and try to avoid drilling the holes out. i want to know what is the stock size for the end that catches inside the rotor?

otherwise i will just pull and drill if i have to or it is recomemded for running sticky tires

They're the same for the front and rear. I used the motormite/doorman parts. If you search my username and studs you should find the post. I don't have the numbers right now.

I run ARP studs on mine with IROC rims. They press directly into the front hubs and rear axle flanges wothout any drilling. They are 12mmx1.5 threads (same as stock) and are 2.5" long.

I also run Kyokugen lightweight racing lugnuts.

The ARP studs can cause cracking when they are pressed into hubs for an upgade package, but from what I hear they are fine for rotors that are not turned into hubs. That is why some use the doorman studs instead.
