Rear Springs Question
Rear Springs Question
I bought the EIbach Pro Kit and am getting ready to install it. I plan on painting the front LCA with POR 15 and also the LCA brackets on the rear with POR 15.
Anyway my question is can I run the rears without isolators? Or do I need them in there? I think if I leave them in there the back end will sit a little higher then I would like.
I actually bought the Eibach Pro kit to raise my car a fraction. As it is now my IROC has cut springs and the previous owner cut the hell out of them. So I have been having some clearnace problems. I basiclaly wanted to get an extra 1 to 2" max clearance under the car.
The Fronts are a PITA so I really only want to do this once. I bought new isolators for the fronts, but at the moment on the fronts they have the rear isolators probably to add some more height as the previous owner knew he over did it with the cutting.
Below is a picture of how the car sits now. For those of you with Pro Kits will my front come up a bit or stay the same?
The pictures I have seen seems like the back sticks up a little too much, so that is why I am thinking not putting the isolators in the back.
What do you think?

i personally dont run the isolators in the rear. im not sure if this is a bad thing. i wish i had the answer, but i dont really care, because my car never has anymore than 1.5 in suspension travel. i need to lower it a little more.
