Stupid Sticking Brakes

Today I went to leave my house and my car wouldn't move. I think it's brake related, but I'm not sure. Lately when I first go to move the car after it's been sitting for a while, I noticed a slight resistance to moving foward, but nothing major, just a slight brake stick feeling. Ususally I'll just shift into reverse and roll back a few feet, then go forward with no problem, but today it just didn't want to move. I finally got it to move when I reved it to about 2000-2500 rpm and dumped the clutch, and even then it was putting up a fight. Last year I had this problem as well only not this bad. I changed the front rotors, pads, calipers, rubber lines, wheel seals and bearings, and brake master cylinder. Over the summer I also replaced the rear drums, pads, and e-brake cable, so basically it's a complete new system except for the hard lines. I really have aboslutely no clue what the hell is going on and would greatly appreciate any suggestions as to what it could be or if by chance this happened to you; how you fixed it would be great. Thanks.

well when you get in it and it doesnt move you need to jack up the front end and see which side is sticking and then do the rear just to make sure it isnt ...

anyway you need to pinpoint which wheel or wheels are sticking on you ..

Yah....powering through the stickage just breaks more stuff, and wears out your clutch. Find the sticking wheel and go from there.

I noticed when you talked about the rear brakes you didn't mention changing the springs and hardware.....a broken return spring can cause a problem like this. May want to check the backs before you check the fronts.

alright, i found the problem. it was the e-brake cable to the right rear tire. the previous owner had the wrong cable installed. it was too short and occasionally caused a binding locking the wheel.
