Size of Castle nut

Who knows what size the castle nut is on the spindle. I lost one of the ones from my parts car when I pulled the rotors, etc and now want to move the car 15' so they can take it to the scrap yard and couldn't find the nut.

Need to know so that I can hopefully find one at a hardware store that will fit on there to accomplish the 15' move.

thanks

Scott

slip an open end wrench on the stud. that'll tell you the diameter the thread pitch will be fine. i think you can get the from the Help products in most parts stroes.
