inner fenders

would I be able to cut off the inner steel fenders and retain the car's structural integrity with the addition of some chromoly tubing, without tying into a cage?

kind of like so...

Theres a "pro street" style camaro around my area that I always see at car shows... He has his inner fenders cut out with the stock style front suspension and some added bracing. Looks neat being able to see the wheels from under the hood but I dunno how secure it is... this guy also has a fuel cell in his hatch without a rear firewall so maybe he isnt too bright in the first place anyway

you can prolly do it with fabrication, but you will lose strength in the front end, and your engine will be all nasty after a few drives down the road.

no more BLING BLING!
