does anyone know the width for my stock rearend out of my '85 camaro? I'm looking around for another rearend (an older 12 bolt maybe?) that i could possibly swap with the stock one. Some of them show the width from drum to drum (i have drums by the way) and i just wanted to know what my width was. I dont want to get anything thats longer because the tires/wheels will stick out right? I was thinking maybe find one close to the same size or maybe even a little bit shorter because i need to put some bigger meats on but nothing major like tubbing the car! I cant afford going that extreme. Any input on some rearends with posi that will hold up to my 383 500+hp i would appreciate. Ill keep my eyes open.
