getting new springs for the 85z. want lowering springs. what do u recommend?

ok guys im going to fully go through the front suspension and redo it this winter. i want to get a new set of springs for the front. i want lowering springs. i dont want the whole 4 spring kit though. does anyone just have lowering springs on the front and not the back? does any company just sell the fronts. i want about a 1 to 1.5' lower. i know my friend used to have a 85 z28 and he had lowering springs on just the front. looked very mean. he did not know the company of them though because they were on there when he bought it. we couldnt figure out if it was an aftermarket spring or if it was a stockker cut down. looked very cool though. actually made the 215-70-15's rub on the inner fenderwell quite a bit actually

I've done all 4 springs on my car. I went from stock to dropzone springs and KYB GR2 shocks/struts. These felt good, at first. After driving it daily for a few months it was feeling harsh. Switched the springs to Eibach Pro Kit and shocks/struts to Bilstein. Night and day difference. The Eibach front spring have one more coil than the dropzones but only about 1/2 inch taller out of the car and good for about a 1/4 inch on the car. The harshness is gone. I would strongly recommend this swap to anyone. Hope this helps.
