TT2 backspacing

Did a search but didn't find what I'm looking for. Planning to get 17" TT2 wheels for my Formula and I want to run 8" up front and 9.5 out back. What backspacing would work on the rear with disc brakes? I've seen several drum brake cars using 5.5" bs so how about cars with rear discs? I'm looking for the tires to come out close to the wheel lip without going past it.

go to american racings website and find the torque thrusts you want then go into custom offset. i believe these cars had 5in front and 5.85 the rear so get rims that will fit these spacings. works out pretthttp://www.americanracing.com/wheels/details.asp?wheelid=29&name=Torq-Thrust%20II&style=505&desc=2-piece%20alloy,%20polished&section=Ay well

Transmission: 700R4, for now....
We have 17x9.5's w/ 275/40/17's and a 5.5" backspacing on all four corners on the camaro in my sig. And yes, it's got 4 wheel disks.

And unless they finally started producing them, you need to custom order them in that backspacing, we just did in the spring...
