I really need some help here
OK I got my SPOHN tranny crossmember for the t56 and driveshaft loop. I was taking the old crossmember off and three of the bolts snapped. I tried everything to get them out but I had to drill them out. Bottom line is the threads are gone and i need to get this new mount in. Anybody ever have or here of any solutions for this???? I am thinking about drilling some holes in the side of the frame so I can get a lock washer and nut on the back of the bolts. Any help on this one??????

I have the same problem...one of my bolts snapped off but I still haven't got the rest of it out yet. IMO you'll need to drill and tap the holes for a larger bolt than the stock one since (I assume) all of the factory threads are shot. That's what I plan on doing if and when I get the rest of my bolt out.'

That was another option, but mine are pretty chewed up. Thanks for the reply though.
I did a search and there was not to many post on the subject. But thanks for the suggestion.

You could also go this route. Instead of installing a bolt, thread a stud in the hole as far as you can and weld it in place, then use a bolt from the bottom side. Problem solved...
