Transmission: t-5 5 speed
manual steering box

i'm looking to go from power steering to manual steering on my IROC. anyone know where i can find compatable manual box for my car? i found manual steering racks on hawks, would that be hard to put in?

nevermind. accually searching > me. so looks like just any 80's S10 with manual steering will work with the stock camaro pitman arm?

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Look for the 83 and up S10's. They have the newer, better steering box that makes it a better/easier swap.

Every week there's at least one on Ebay. Typical price is $60-$80 but some have gone for less than $40.

i bought mine as a reman with a lifetime warranty for $150 from autozone. didn't want the hassle of having to go junkyard hunting around here since the price is jacked up since i'm near chicago.

I used one from an 80's S10, it was a direct fit, the only problem was that it hit my front sway bar bracket, but I was taking it off anyways..

Works great.. The install is on my website..
