Will the steering box out of an 84 trans am be the same quick ratio box that would be found in the later gta's and iroc's? I don't know if it is a WS6 car, but i do know that it has factory rear discs.

 

My GTA is a bit past 1 turn from center to lock. The TTA i drove a while back was a little more than 3/4 turn center to lock if i remember correctly. I know is was quicker then my car. So yes they do make a few different steering boxes.

 

though the ratio is different, it will fit.
