weight information?

Hey guys, I'm new to these third gen cars. I have an 00 Formula right now, but wanted to get a 91-92 Formula as well. My plans would be to strip it of as much weight as possible (A/C, stereo, sound deadening, etc.), then throw in a roll cage and some racing seats, hook the suspension up and have a nice weekend toy. Can someone please tell me where I can find the following information?

1. Curb weight of a 91/92 Formula w/ 305 and 5-speed
2. Weights of items in the car (stereo, etc)

Also, is there anyone on this board, or does anyone know of a wesbite where anyone has done something like this, or similar to this?

Welcome aboard!

You have found the best site in the world for your potential firebird build up. Everything you want to do to your car is here on this site. A few searches will bring up hundreds of threads for you to read. Just be creative with your word selection when searching.

Try things like
"weight reduction"
"ways to lose weight"
"what does your car weigh"
"roll cage selection"
etc etc

Also, go back to the main page and click in the FAQ and tech data for specific info on your car of choice. There is also a weight calculator for various options and parts.
