I'm going to be putting Weld pro star 15x8 rims with 4.5" back spacing and 275/50 R15 BFGoodrich Traction T/A tires. These will stick of the side of the fender alittle and I need to figure out what to do to a stock '91 RS suspension to keep the tires from rubbing the fenders when I hit a big bump. Originally the car had 215/65 R15 tires. This is my first post and any help would be great thanks!

 

i am running bigger and taller tires and they do not stick out past the fender with 15x8 pro stars with 4.5BS. pics are on my cardomain site in sig. hope this helps.

 

Hey thanks for the pictures but I know you said you've got the same rims and backspacing but I don't know how big the tires are your running. Also I can see they have room but it looks like if you drove over railroad tracks or a big bump they would rub.

 

they don't rub, and the sizes are on that website.

they're 275/60R15, or i also run 28x10.50 hoosier slicks with no problem of rubbing.
