z28 stering box

whats the big differance bewteen the z28's and the normal couple or rs? I hear alot about the swaps ppl want to do .. but why? whats the hipe about? if its good the.. there is a z28 at the junkyard and i thought about it but,i figure i better ask before i waste 15$

Its worth 15 dollars its a better ratio takes less turns to go lock to lock.

Make sure it is truly a quick-ratio box. The 'Z' cast into the top of the box doesn't necessarily mean it is a quick-ratio. I believe the correct p/n for the quick-ratio goes something like 26000xx. Can anyone verify that?
