help me get my car lower... 2" drop doesnt cut it!!!!

ok this is my car i allready have a 2 inch intrac drop all the way around i need it lower i would like to be able to tuck the 18's and make em look real nice.

But i dont know anyone that makes more than a 2 inch drop.
were thinking about cutting an inch or so of the springs till we get the right height. are thier any other suggestions you guys might could give me?

I have a full tank of gas in this pic too somtimes it rides even higher on a low tank of gas...

thanks for any suggestions you can give me in advance.

If you do cut them ONLY use a cutting wheel

Get custom wound springs.

Or just start trimming a 1/4 or so off of the ones you have. Although that'll raise the spring rate.

I achieved the perfect stance with my 91 Z28 by using Ground Control Weight Jacks and custom length/rate springs. Its tucking the 18's now and has a slight rake, but no new pics yet (sig is old pic). The great part was that I was able to adjust the ride height after the fact, and get the springs with the rates I wanted to sort of control the suspension travel. I highly recommend it if you want to go lower than 2" with the OEM style suspension. I also highly recommend a good set of dampeners.

Also, remember that when you go this low you want to consider the effects it will have on your suspension geometry.

yea thats the only bad thing i dont want to completley screw up all my suspension upgrades by going even lower the car rides great now but i just cant handle all the 4 wheel drive action.

Where do you get weight jacks at? i would like to look into these.

It was discussed last week that s10 control arms are the same. You might beable to get s10 3" drop buckets, and put your stock springs back up front?

Air ride kit?

Or as crazy said. but thats alot of cash and money. But to make it ride properly, it does cost that.

Make sure you get adustable panhard, tq arm, lower control brackets, bump steer kit, modified upper strut mounts, custom shocks/struts, etc.

I'm looking for about a 2.25'ish front, and 2.0'ish rear

I second the air ride kit. You could also cut a tiny bit off the springs as you mentioned. Have you tried to take our or swap for a thinner rear spring issolator. You can get another inch right there if you wtake it out. You can slide some rubber hose on the end of the spring to keep it from being to noisy.

get in on the guys with the dropped spindles for the front and cut the spring perches and weld them on 1 to 2 inches lower in the back. Say a couple hundred for the spindles and a little bit less for the welding and you got your lowered ride for cheap. O yea buy some diamond plate steel and build a skid pad for your car cause your gonna scrape...everything!
