I just want to say thank you to everyone that has helped me get this far, I got my motor leaks fixed.

I know streetable and drag racing do not go together, I do not want a comfortable ride at all, I just want it to be safe on the road. No one other than me is going to drive this beast, so I figure I can go as far out as the limitations of safety allow.

I have looked over about 3 hours of searchable posts but no one really says what is needed and what isn't.

I got it running and replaced all the fluids, I started her up and she idles like a true champ. So I took her out for a mean test drive.

I got my launch down perfect, maybe too well. The suspension is sagging badly and needs new springs, shocks, bushings...a complete overhaul I can hook wonderfully but my wheel wells smash down on my rear tires. I put some grooves in the rear tires and I might need new rears to

Here is my goal:

Rear mounted passenger battery (no room upfront for my optima I want and transfer is a little better)

Raise rearend up at least an inch if not more, Jegs only has lowering springs.

New shocks 10/90 upfront not sure about what I need in the back.

PARacing Subframe connectors and Torque Arm. (not sure with clearance on my 3" flowmasters)

Oversized Rear Swaybar, small swaybar upfront (smallest that I can get)

I see tons of other parts, LCA relocation ect ect, but I don't know what they are designed to help.

I really don't have to cornor like a new vette, but I want it to not be dangerous switching lanes in busy traffic.

You guys are really a life saver, you teach me things my 5 years suscription to car magazines haven't.

I got by for 3 years running stock suspension, when I installed this 388 only suspension mods were shorter torque arm (Jegster) and air bags since the rear sway bar alone will not keep body from rolling over on the hit, other than that 120,000 miles on stock front worn out struts, springs up front as well as stock springs/shocks out back and got that 1.48 60'.

Everything else is in my sig since I updated and while it takes getting used to the new chasis characteristics of how the car reacts when taking a corner a little faster than you should, it's not anywhere what I'd call dangerous or scarey.

I drive the snot out of this thing on the street so guess I'm able to give experience from both street and strip and am very happy with the results.

I'm with IHI, really, with proper attention these things can do great at the strip with very little done to them in what most people would consider very streetable trim
