Will 4.3 Parts work with a 2.8?

My friend has a 4.3L V6 in his S-10. Will heads, crank and other parst off his engine work in my 2.8?

Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 lsd 10 bolt
I don't think so, but you should probably try the engine board to find out for sure.

No wonder I couldnt find topic, I posted this in th wrong forum. Will a mod please ove or delete this as he sees fit? So it wont, work. Ok, then my problem is solved
