things to do for max. straight line traction
what are some suspension mods i could do for cheap to get myself the maximum straightline traction, but keep ride height or drop the car if i thats possible without losing more traction.

LCAs with the relocation bracket really help with that.
Also, very important, make sure your tires are up to the task, you might need to upgrade wheels too (to fit a wider tire). I don't really have traction issues in general (stupid L03) but I had some Goodyear 215-65/15s on a 15x7 wheel and I used to be able to chirp 2nd all day long...usually pretty loud and long too. I upgraded to 17x9 with 275/40-17 and now those things don't make a peep

If you are having problems hooking the tires, Remove the front sway bar...you wont believe what this will do for traction...just take the corners a bit slower

All the trick suspension stuff won't help if you can't get the power to the ground. There's nothing wrong with third gen suspension. Aftermarket parts are just stronger plus use poly bushings to eliminate all unwanted movement.
The first thing you need to do is get some slicks. If you spin off the line, suspension parts won't help. Once you get traction, good suspension parts make the car more responsive and consistent. They won't make it any faster.
Adjustability makes the suspension a tuning aid to help adjust to different track conditions.
