Custom Torque Arm
i'm not sure if you can really consider this "custom" but its definately homemade and ghetto...my goal was to find a way to get a tubular style torque arm for cheap...found 1 for like 150 bucks used, and i showed my dad, he said what all dad's would say..."I could make one like that"...my first thought was oh boy....but he took some 1" solid stainless pipe, real heavy stuff, and stitch welded it into the existing frame of the stock torque arm...i forgot to snap a picture right after it was welded, but you can probably still see through the paint, the welds look awesome...it definately stiffened the thing up, and added alot of weight, but I know its sturdy now...i covered it with a couple nice coats of plastikote...what do you guys think? you think it'll perform like an aftermarket tubular one will? i couldn't figure out how to post a pic, its on the last page of my cardomain page http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/775842/6 right there on the bottom... how do you post a pic off your computer anyways?

ive also wondered about that, a "free-mod" is always worth it if it works.
