Full Suspension Rebuild/Build Up HELP

I have creaking struts and or strut mounts on the RS. I knew when I bought the car that it needed most of the suspension replaced or worked on. I need to know in what order should I have things done? I want/need the following:

Shocks/Struts
Strut Mounts
LCAs
Panhard Bar
MAYBE steering assembly
Torque Arm

I have a 1992 RS with L03 and WC-T5 Open 3.08 Rear End.

What order should I do these and what brands should I buy?

OK, I found my way over to your original post.

No doubt I'd do shocks/struts and upper bearing plates.(strut mounts). I happen to really like the Tokico HPs for the money.

LCAs and Panhard bar aren't really needed if this is a DD, and presumably your GTO will be your "toy". BUT, if ya want 'em, I'm a big fan of Spohn. I'd get relocation brackets if anything, even if you keep the stock LCAs.

The torque arm is pretty much the same. For what you're doing, I doubt it would do much.

It's always tricky trying to determine what's "good enough" and what's "needed".

I just replaced shocks struts and springs. Shocks and struts I went with kyb's for cost and springs I did moog's stock right height. While your replacing springs and shocks great time to check other moving parts like ball joints and bushings. Sway bar bushings and endlinks are a great upgrade for a 70,000 + car also. Once you replace all this stuff you will be better able to feel and see what might also need to be replaced. My car had about 81,000 miles on it when I did this work and the difference is night and day on ride and ride height. Tire's are also a great upgrade once you replace all all the susp stuff its the icing on the cake once all this stuff acts like it needs to. Good luck and if your going to be doing your own work be safe and do it right. I am also replacing lca and panhard with lakewoods non adjustable from I think jeg's less then spohn's. This is a budget summer fun car and I like spohns stuff but alot of it is more race / x cross related. I have no plans to lower car so adjustable is not needed. I did buy the flex breaklines from spohn. Great product. Oh ya if you are doing all this stuff might want to at least refresh calipers pads shoes rotors and drums if needed and replace flex lines. Having a nice ride is great but stopping is more important. Do some research on different aftermarket venders there are many ways to go for shocks springs lca's parhard ect. Sorry to get so long winded just did alot of this stuff recently so its fresh.

For front end rebuild parts, I can say that www.vbandp.com has great parts and prices, plus great service.
