tires

Im well past my due date for buying new tires, well at least on the rear *I wonder why* I want a very good set of tires, not really looking for something that will last me a long time, im more or less looking for the grip of an aligator on crack. Its my daily driver so I cant put drag slicks on them or something like that. Also, last time ive ever bought tires was for my 93 cougar, just got the economy type.

What should I look for when I goto the tire place, what should I ask for?

Check out www.tirerack.com and read the tire reviews. There are ratings for all kinds of tires on there to help you pick which ones fit your driving needs.

A lot of people will tell you what they like but chances are they have only run a few sets of tires. It is always nice to see some quantifiable data in front of you to filter out opinions.
