WS6 vs. stock Camaro suspension.
What are the differences between the WS6 package on the Trans Ams and the Camaro package? Will the WS6 bolt onto a Camaro of the same year?

WS6 is the top of the line handling package. But it was only available on the pontiacs. All parts are interchangeable.

You are correct the LE1 is the best, but i didn't include it because it had to be specially ordered and barely any were built during its limited availability.

If I have my knowledge correct wasn't the WS6 package a Pontiac only option? From what I see in car weights the fully loaded Pontiacs were much heavier cars so thus they would require a heavier rate spring to compensate for the wieght of the car to make it handle decent.
Put those WS6 springs on a lighter weight car and they will make it transistion betterwithout as much weight transfer under acceleration, cornering,or braking.
Regardless, any stock suspension- espceially one 20 years old- is nothing to write home about. Upgrade the bushings and shocks with aftermarket options rather than factory new replacements and the car will handle much better in transitions.

le1? Do you guys mean 1LE? That wasn't just suspension by the way, that's things like radio and AC delete as well.
I was under the impression that the maros got the better springs rates? (not like that matters on these old cars anyways, you're better off with newer springs)

1LE camaros got the same basic rates and bars that the WS6 cars did + things like AC and power junk deletes, bigger brakes…
TTA’s and a few others were available in the Pontiac line with the bigger brakes of the 1LE packages.
As cars rolled down the assembly line they had springs installed according to their assembly weight… for example, there were 3 possible front springs a WS6/1LE car could get depending on their weight. Also, FWIW, Pontiacs almost always got 1 step stiffer rear springs then the comparable camaro setup which gave them more neutral handling from the factory on top of already getting stiffer springs since on average they were 130-140lbs heavier.
