15x28x13.5 Mickey ETs on back??
Well I ordered some 15x28x13.5 Mickey Thompson ET Streets off ebay and it turns out they stick out and hit the top of the outside wheel well lip.
But I thought I've heard of people putting 28" tall tires on these cars?
Guys w/28" tall tires, how wide of a tire did you put on? Did you have to do any suspension work to get them to fit? I'd like to get 28" tires again, but is it even possible? These tires that I got were off a 4th gen, not sure if he had any suspension mods. Thanks.

28" tall tires are one thing...but when you try stuffing a 28" tall tire that is 13.5" wide...problems come up. You're going to, at LEAST, need to roll the fender lip and beat the wheel wells to stuff those in there.

just go with a 10.5 thats plenty of traction for the power your putting down.

Thanks for the replies.
Does a 28", 10.5 wide go into the wheel well without any modifications? If so do you guys know what backspacing is needed? Thanks.

I've run 28x10.5 ET Drags on 15x8 rims with 5.5" BS, they fit fine width-wise (didnt even stick out past the fender) but I had to beat the crap outta the front of my wheel wells.

Blackroc86 has 28x13.5x15 ET-Streets on 10" rims with 5.5" backspacing. He said that he took a hammer to the inside and trimmed a couple of bolt ends off.
