How can I use my new BBS rims?

I picked up a set of these BBS rims. They are 17x10 on each rim. The back spacing on these rims is right around 7"

I tried to test fit them on my car, but they definately did not fit....especially in the front where the rim hits before it even makes it to the lugs.

The guy I got them off of said they came from an an 87 Vette. I guess the vette body and suspension is much different from ours? Any way I can swap some suspension stuff around or something to make these fit?

I would really like to use these rims if possible. I don't want them sticking out like 5" from my car though, and I would still like to be able to steer my front wheels.

How about using spacers? Somewhere around a 2-incher will probably fix your situation.
