how can i tell if i have koni yellows?

I changed out my struts with some kyb's today, the old ones are still good, but they seemed really stiff riding. They were in the car when i bought it. They are yellow, and the piston rod is built very thick. I think they may be koni yellows but there is no markings on them anywhere. Is there a way i can tell for sure?

Is there a small tab that you can turn at the top where the nut attaches? That's where the adjustment point is on the Koni's.

There is no adjustment on them so i guess they aren't koni's, maybe bilsteins though. If i think of it tomorrow i will take a pic of them.

LOL, I was thinking that too, but thought of the Bilsteins as well. I'm not sure if there are any other popular brands out there that are yellow, so it should be one of them unless they were painted.
