whats causing my crappy 60'?

i used to pull 1.9 / 2.0 60' foot but recently my best is only 2.1 60'

my better times were on bald street tires and my new times are on new kumhos but the catch is my torque arm mount has dissapeared. literally.. no bushing left. would that little bit the torque arm moves have caused enough pinion angle change to gimme ****tier launches?

... replace the bushing.

Preferably with a poly mount like an ES piece. I'll say though, those aftermarket mounts are a pain in the *** to install. Though I must say I'm curious as to how the bushing disappeared. Those things are riveted to backing plate/mount.

I went from my weak/worn stock piece to an ES piece and I eliminated my wheelhop problems.

Um,, yeah, that would cause it. Without that bushing, your rear end is moving all around, throwing your pinion angle out of wack. Put a Poly in there and enjoy the traction.

ok thanks just making sure that was my main concern.

i do in fact have the ES mount, but im gonna need help getting the old one out first. long story, but its gonna need either the tranny dropped or cutting some bolts to get it out.

im not sure either how it dissapeared, the rivets are still their to some of the chunkjs of rubber, but the majority of rubber is gone. like a peice fell out and the driveshaft slowly tore the rest away i guess.

Fix your suspension before complaining about bad 60' times. Eliminate the obvious problems first.
