I managed to get a kit from some trades.
what i noticed is that one of the brackets that has like 6 holes in it that bolts to the floor seems to be slightly twisted/bent
is this normal for this kit?
not sure if it's purposely like that for the floor contour.
it doesn't appear that someone did this cause it's clean like brand new
the other pieces pretty much line up
has anyone installed one of these?

ok thanks
wasnt sure if it was normal or not
the directions seem to be a pain as far as installation
if i didn't get it for swapping, i definately wouldn't have bought it
but it adds safety and she'll put it to use at the track

Pain to install? yeah, if you're working alone and don't have someone to help hold the top of the bolt from turning hehe. Once you get things up under the car you'll see the reason for that bent part.

All those bends are normal. At least you got a third gen kit. The universal kit is terrible to install in a third gen. I still use a Lakewood loop in my car.
I didn't have any problems installing mine however I only have a driver's race seat in the car. No passenger seat, no carpet. All that needs to come out unless you plan on drilling holes through the carpet.
