torque arm or ladder bars?

which one of these products gets the job done on the street and at the track?

You won't like ladder bars on the street. A properly tuned suspension with an adjustable aftermarket torque arm can easily go into the 9's.

I use ladder bars on my car because it was the easiest way to put a junkyard 9" housing into the car.

could someone show the diffrence between the two? I'm pretty sure i know but i want to make sure.

Look under your car. It uses a torque arm and 2 lower control arms.

Go to my web pages and look in the gallery. I have pictures of the ladder bars. 2 ladder bars on either side of the diff and no lower control arms.

Both systems need something to keep the diff centered. The factory system uses a panhard bar. Most ladder bar systems use a diagonal link but I use a tubular aftermarket panhard bar. It does the same thing.

hmm...i'd say torque arm, it works well enough for me and my buddies.

this car has run 7.8x's in the 1/4
