84 WS-6 parts on a 82 base suspension
I'm adding WS-6 front and rear sway bars to my 82 trans am, however I don't have the bushings and brackets that mount the front sway bar. Can anyone tell me the correct diameter of this sway bar and where to buy these parts to mount it. How will my car do in corners with this upgrade while still using my base coil springs.
I'm also going to add a ws-6 steering box, and subframes and strut tower brace

Your '82 may need a different front swaybar bracket than later models, if the bolt holes for the bracket are straight across. Assuming that's the case, you can purchase a kit with zinc-plated brackets, poly bushings, and bolts from TDS, 1982 Front Sway Bar Bushing Kit. TDS also carries a kit for the later version too.
The WS-6 front swaybar is generally 36mm in diameter.
I am sure that the larger bars will help your cornering, but I think replacing 23 year-old coil springs would really do wonders.

I'm staying away from spring replacement since I'm certain the car doesn't need them it's a low mileage car only has about 85,000 miles. It seems to sit level and doesnt sag a bit.

'82-84 WS6 sway bar sizes are 32mm for the front and 23mm for the rear. The '84 15th anniversary T/A used 34mm and 25mm sway bars which became the standard WS6 sway bars in 1985.
