Clear coating my rims...
I just recently bought a set of black GTA wheels that were re-done.....There is no clear coat on the black paint and I want to put clear coat on them to keep them from chipping...will that help against chipping??? if so What clear coat should I buy so I can do it at home......

theres no clear coat on the stock gold ones i have I think.. that stuff is super tough.. the outside rim starts to show some wear but the middle has stayed perfect :|

Yea, but his have been refinished and probably just painted. The stock ones are probably powder coated or sprayed thick with something other than spray paint.
