Monte Carlo SS steering box swap
Monte Carlo SS steering box swap
The car in question is an 85 Z28, it doesn't have F41 suspension and I am wondering if the swap will work and if it will make a difference in the steering effort and turning speed.
Thanks in advance.

The swap will work, just install the pitman arm from the F-body on the G-body box and you will be good to go. It bolts into the frame the same way, and the fittings on the lines are the same as well.

I'mnot sure, but I think the MCSS box is basically like an XH box without internal stops. 3 turns lock to lock, but because the turning radius is shorter from what I understand.
