shock perch rusted out

shock perch rusted out
My drivers front shock perch broke loose today. I can push down on it and move it with just my hands. There is visible rust around it on a few areas. And i have a through hole a few inches in front and behind the mount. Please tell me that my car is salvageable. I need to get it into a condition to sell it asap.

Top or bottom? Either way they are part of a part that unbolts from the car. Even if it wasn’t you could always make a new one or cut one out of another piece and weld it in.

its the top, it looks like a piece that was stamped and then welded to the wheel well in production. The problem that i have is that the wheel well is the part that is rusting out and i cant see an easy place to weld to. and i don't know any welders at the moment near purdue university
