Put jack stands on A-Arms and I can't get the car down!

Put jack stands on A-Arms and I can't get the car down!
I can't get it down! I jacked it up as high as I could and I couldn't get it down! Any tricks to my stupid stunt?

No really, use a couple of 2x4 pieces of wood laying flat under the floorjack to get it up higher.
