biggest tires for my 15s
I was wondering what's the biggest tires that I could put on my firebird. I know i'm going to have no traction if I stick with the 265/50 15s that are on there right now. I don't care about the speedo, because it's not going to be hooked up anyway. thanks

i have the same size radial t/a's and i don't think anything had to be done to fit them (275/60/sr15).

I have 255/60 15's out back and every time the car squats the rim on the inside of the right rear wheelwell chews up the outside tread on my tire. I have new kyb shocks in the back. I can't go any bigger than that.

you also have wheels with a slightly different offset. aren't you running some AR outlaw II's? what is the backspacing on it?
to fix your problem, i would suggest rolling the fender well. it will help from cutting the tire. there's all kinds of posts on here about doing that.
