10 point cage through the dash??

Ive got a competition engineering 10pt cage for my 87 camaro project. The side bars follow the a-pillars and go down through the dash to the floor. Any good ideas on how to get the bars through the dash and still make it look good? Im not sure how to make the dash look decent since ill have to cut the dash pad so it will all fit.

I have been looking around as I am getting ready to do this also. there is a recent thread here with a Chassis Engineering cage installed in a camaro with the bars done very well, extremely tight to the pillars. This is the most common way. You will always have to cut the dash. I saw a car this weekend where they had run it behind the dash and notched the back corners and while effective , I did not care for the look as you could see exposed foam.
