how much lowering with 18s
I'm running very similar sizes (except I'm running 275/35/18 rear) and I've lowered it well over 2 inches without rubbing. Your wheel backspacing and the rest of the suspension is important. Going with a close to stock backspacing in the front gives alot more clearance at extremely low ride heights, but then when compared to the rear wheel (which can have a more extreme backspacing without rubbing issues) the fronts can look like they are too far in or inset. So keep that in mind. Also the rest of the suspension needs to be in top condition and modified to properly support the ride height or it will bottom out and cause you to rub (example, need good struts/shocks).

Thanks, are they good wheels, or expensive?
I'll be getting wheels for my ride in the near future, and always keeping my eyes open for the "right" wheels. willing to spend $300+ per wheel but not much more, many of the quality custom wheels are just so outrageous in cost- can't see paying $750 or even $1k for just a wheel, end up having wheels that are worth more than the whole car, even though thirdgens that are done right are still gettin $7~$10k on the market out here, and nice GTA's and Irocs will be gradually going up as they approach the 20yr mark. People at some point will want them again. especially with there not being as many interesting new cars on the market, that are under $35k
