I know Edelbrock has one for carbed / tbi cars cause I used to have it on mine. I liked it a lot. (Now I have a new setup and couldn't use it).

The BMR is a nice, i had the edlebrock but wouldnt fit under my fiberglass SS hood, so switched to the BMR. Have to say that the BMR seems to be better made.

I got the edelbrock because I am running a carb, and I wanted a brace that went from shock tower to shock tower, and also from shock towers to firewall.

I was originally going to make one from stainless but I quit my job to get a better one, and don't have accsess to the stainless anymore.

At least some of us would disagree with that.

Especially if you've got the stock upper strut mounts, which have a rubber disk that allows the top of the strut to move around, no matter how much bracing you add to the sheet metal.

IMHO, you'll get a lot more bang for the buck by worrying about SFCs, shocks, springs, and antiroll bars first. That, and replacing any worn or damaged parts so that you're starting from a like-new condition.

At least for me, STBs fall pretty low on the priority list.
