jacking up the rear

What is the best way to raise the rear without springs. Weight jacks? some kind of spacer? I have isolators in there. I would like for it to be adjustable. Any links? pics? anything. Thanks.

ps-please don't say put in different springs.

Have you considered air shocks or air bags?

I have considered air ride. But when I do that I wanna go all out with the complete system. For now I just need a "quick fix" kinda thing, as the car is being made. Also $ is a little tight for something like this. I was hoping to do it for less than 200 or 300 at the most. I have seen some screw type jacks that you put under the spring, but i can't remember where i saw them.

how much are you looking to raise it?

You could order the pig-tail adapters from Ground-Control, but with the stock springs, you would not be able to get it down to stock height, with the adaptor installed, I bet you pick up about 3/4", even with it all the way lowered.

You might also look into getting the All-Star adjusters, and then getting a pair of 5" race springs, in something like a 10" free height, that should allow you to adjust it just fine, and probably at its max height, you could pick up 1" or so of height above stock, but also lower it if you felt so inclined.

Hey thanks for all the input Dewey316. Those company names is what I was looking for. I have sportlines in there now. So maybe i will look into the adjusters and install them under the sporlines. i wanna try and keep the springs, but I can't while I have my 335s under there, due to the lip hitting. I want to get thinner tires, but for now these were just too good a deal when i found them (used) off an old Viper. I also think that the sportlines are a bit to low anyways, cuz the LT 2210s. Anyways, I will check out the website of the companies you mentioned. Thanks.

damn I just looked up stuff from ground controle. They have what i want, but you have to buy springs and the adjusters for all 4 corners. I just want the adjusters for the rear, and no springs.

Call them up. I am 95% sure you can buy just the rear adjusters.

If that does not work, Call Strano Parts, I would be willing to bet they would work with you, and sell you just the rear adjusters.

why not just put the stock springs back in there and adjust up and down with different spring isolators (3rd gen are the thickest, 4th gen are thinner, chuncks of hose is even thinner...). Spring rate should be the same or slightly higher the the sportline springs and should work OK if not very well…

I no longer have the stock springs. I would rather just buy some kind of spring jack, maybe even for all 4 corners if possible, but for now I really just want the rear. I will call that site that was linked above, today. Hope i can keep this all under 300 bucks.

ps-i am on stock isolators now.
