stored tires for winter

I'm wondering if it matters if i left the tires on the car while i store it outside or should i put them inside? Would it matter? Would it cause dot rot?

Just move it back and forth a bit if its long storage, you can get flat spots on the tyres if its standing on the same bit of ground for a long time.

The tires r off the ground so there would be flat spots but im wondering if i should put the tires inside or keep them outside? Will the temp. cause dry rot?

Well where i live can be pretty cold [not arctic tho ], and it can take years to damage a tyre in that way.
