My camaro is just for Sportsman racing, and limited street use. I have some tall slicks, and ladder bar setup, but with the setup I am going with, and for the right weight transfer I need to raise the rear 2".

IIRC, the spring pockets in the frame have plenty of room. If this is the case, just make 2" spacers, but double-check the axle geometry after the changeover because it was never designed to operate at this angle on a permanent basis.

why people cut these cars up and run ladder bars is beyond me when the aftermarket for stock style suspension is so huge now. i know too many people running stock style stuff way into the 9's and a few running mid/high 7's.

The car hasn't been setup for ladder bars yet.

What would you recommend?

since your planning on cutting and welding new brackets...i would SERIOUSLY recommend running the BMR stuff. get the BMR Trak Pak torque arm, you can see it here about 3/4 down the page.

http://bmrfabrication.com/F3-suspension.htm i know alot of guys running this, to include Smookey Hall, who is the first Nitrous powered, stock style suspension drag radial car into the 7's.

Spohn, at the top of the page, also makes really nice stuff. my father is running their torque arm for the powerglide. it's a nice piece.

what times do you expect to run with this car? i still have the stock torque arm, stock lca's that i boxed myself, a set of Spohn lca relocation brackets, and a Spohn nonadjustable panhard bar. my car has gone 1.75 60's...
