15" rims lookin for an autcross tire

Hey, Ive got 15" inch rims on the bird and i was wondering what the widest lowest profile tire would fit on the car without compromising steering angle. i searched but most people with 15" tires are looking for a drag setup. any replies would be awesome.

Do you intend to maintain OEM wheel/tire height? I know of a few good 15" street tires that would work good for autox (I've run them in the past) but they were all 50 series meaning they are much much shorter than an OEM setup (usually uses 60-65 series sidewall).

235/60 seems to be the best size on the front(it's very close to the 215/65's in height)without rubbing. You could possibly get away with a 245/60 on the front. If you're not concerned with rotating front to back then you could go with 245 or 255/60's on the back. But then you have to recalibrate the speedo.

I'd look into 225/50R15 Bridgestone Potenza S-03. Yokohama also has the ES100's in the same size (also a good tire). Those are the only two I've tried, they were good for 15's.
