I AM LOOKING TO PUT ZO6 WHEELS ON MY 86 IROC. I WAS WONDERING THE STRENGTH OF WHEEL SPACERS UNDER A LOT OF POWER AND IF THE TIRES WILL SCRUB WITH 275/40 17'S OR 18'S UP FRONT AND IF A 295 - 315/18 WOULD FIT IN BACK...
THANKS,
NICK

as long as you get good quality adapters, not "spacers" from skulte's site or wheeladapters.com.they will fit better if you are not lowered.or more work is involved.here is a pic with my zo6's 18"

Irocdan,
I own a base 1988 Camaro (E Vin-305 TBI). I also own a 96 Z28 Convertible. I am going to sell my Z28. But I am keeping the wheels/tires to put on my 88 Camaro. The wheels are 17". I haven't pulled the wheels off to measure the back spacing. The tires are 255/40/17. I was going to purchase the wheel adapters from FBody Motorsports. They are 2" front, 1.50" Rear. My concern is if these are the right size adapters or if I need a different size. How do I go about figuring out the right size?
Quite some time ago, Fred at wheeladapters.com wanted to ship one adapter to me to see if it would fit. I was looking for an easier way to get this done, instead of shipping adapters back and forth until we found the right fit. I had considered driving to his shop and taking one of the wheels, but the drive from Hemet Calif to his shop is quite a ways.
Any suggestions?

Irocdan,
Did your tires rub the fender at all? If so what did you do to fix the problem. I have the same size Z06's and I was just wondering if they bolted up with no complications.
Thanks,
Jay
